The Board

The Group’s founder George Sutherland has recognised the importance of building a strong team to enable the Group to achieve substantial growth in the next few years, and has therefore made the following appointments to the Board:

John French - Chairman

John is also on the Board of the following listed companies Air Music & Media Plc; Croma Plc; I-Financial Services Group Plc; Avanti Screenmedia Group Plc and The Claims People Group Plc.

George Sutherland - Chief Executive

George previously worked for Associated Biscuits; Nabisco; Bristol-Myers Squibb; Chesebrough Ponds; Elida Gibbs Unilever; Mates Healthcare Ltd and Ansell Ltd before setting up his own business in 1991. He is also on the Board of Sutherland Group Holdings Ltd.

Stephen Coke - Finance Director & Company Secretary

Stephen is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a Partner at the firm of Chartered Accountants and Auditors C B Heslop & Co.  

Sheena Sukumaran - Marketing Director

Sheena previously worked for Taylor & Francis Plc, and Sutherland Group Holdings Ltd

Hugh Robertson - Non-Executive Director

Hugh has many years experience in corporate law, and is a Partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions at Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, also on the Board of Viatrade Plc.
